Nurses

Mrs Sarah Allen (f)

Nurse Sarah is also a nurse prescriber.

Miss Wendy Haynes (f)

Nurse Wendy is a Diabetic specialist and is also a nurse prescriber.

Our practice nurses are available by appointment or at our drop-in clinic to provide: blood pressure checks, cervical smears, chlamydia testing, contraception advice, contraceptive pills/patches, dietary advice, dressings, ear syringing, emergency contraception, health care checks, immunisations, sexual health advice, stitch/staple removal, travel advice, urine checks, and weight management.

Healthcare Assistants

Healthcare assistants support practice nurses with their daily work and carry out tasks such as phlebotomy (drawing blood), blood pressure measurement and new patient checks. They may act as a chaperone when a patient or doctor requests one.
Mrs Vanessa Wood (f)
Vanessa joined the practice in 2012 as a Health care assistant. Her practice duties include taking patients bloods as well as conducting NHS Health Checks. She has recently qualified to do ear syringes.

Phlebotomists

Mrs Homa Nagdhali (f)
Homa, is our practice phlebotomist. This means she takes patients bloods. She is also part of the reception team and scans patient documents onto our clinical system.
